Arunachal Pradesh has a
variety of options to choose from. There are
religious
places and pilgrimage places like Parasuram Kund & 400 years old Twang
Monastery, sites of archeological excavation like Malinithan and
Itanagar, the unended greener & beauty of Arunachal Lakes like Ganga
lake or the numerous variations of scenic beauty of the snow clad
mountains and lush green meadows where enth number of species flora and
fauna is found. Also the state provides abundant scope for adventurous
activities like angling, boating, rafting, trekking and hiking. There
are numerous wild life national parks with rare animals, birds and
plants are found.
Arunachal Pradesh is considered to be the

exquisitely beautiful blooms, from one of the dominant taxa with more
than six hundred species, growing in varying elevations and climatic
conditions throughout in Arunachal Pradesh.
Nature has provided
Arunachal Pradesh with a deep sense of beauty which finds delightful
expression in their culture. Weather varies from warm and humid to heavy
rainfall in the Shivalik ranges. It becomes very cold as one moves to
higher altitudes. Trees of every size, plentiful climbers and abundance
of cane and bamboo make Arunachal Pradesh a green state.
Bomdila
Bomdila is the head
quarters of West Kameng district situated at a height of 8500 fts above
sea level. Bomdila has a lot of tourism for the tourists with its
pleasant climate, Apple orchards, snow-clad Peaks of Himalayas and
Buddhist Gompas. The Buddhist monastery of Bomdila is an example of
culture. Bomdila has a tourist Bungalow, craft centre displaying local
artisan crafts and shopping centre where the tourist get to feel the
local taste of Himalayan Buddhist life. Sight seeing to Dirang valley
and the famous Sela Pass (13,700 fts.) are breath taking experience
enroute to Twang.
Itanagar
Itanagar is the capital
of North East India largest state. Itanagar has historical fort called Ita fort
dating back to the 14 century. The capital houses the Raj Bhawan , the official
residence of the Governor has also many worth visiting places in and around
Itanagar. Consecrated by the Dalai Lama the Buddhist Monastery a beautiful
yellow roofed shrine reflects the extensive Tibetan influence and offers good
views of Itanagar and the surrounding country side. Itanagar places of interest
are Donyi Polo Vidya Bhawan Publics School, North East Regional Institute of
Science & Technology, Engineering Institute providing innovative way of higher
education, Arunachal University & Government Piggery and Poultry Farm.
Namdapha National Park
Namdapha wild
life sanctury which has now been declared as a national park is a few
kilometers away from Miao. It is Heaven for Wilderness and Nature Wild
life lovers who visit the Namdapha National Park, covering a wide range
of altitudes from 200 mtrs. to 4,500 Mtrs. The park on the whole is not
very accessible & has diverse habitats of flora and fauna which are
typical in this area. The majestic Gaur, Elephant, Himalayan black Bear,
wild goat, musk deer, slow loris, binturong and the red panda are all
found in Namdapha National Park. . The carnivorous include the tiger,
leopard, snow leopard and clouded leopard in the higher ranges of the
Park. . The white winged wood duck, assam macaque, pig-tailed macaque
and the hoolock gibbon, Hornbills, jungle fowl and pheasants flap their
noisy way through the jungle, which harbors other colorful bird species.
The inaccessibility to the larger part of the park has enhanced to keep
the forests in the pristine state.
