Delhi - Agra - Delhi - Leh - Pangong - Leh - Alchi - Liker - Khardungla - Nubra - Leh - Delhi (13 Days)

Day 01: Arrive Delhi Red Fort - Delhi

Assistance on arrival at Delhi domestic airport, transfer to hotel. Evening free to relax, overnight in Delhi. (Meals: No Meals)

Day 02: Delhi

After breakfast take a sight seeing tour of Old & New Delhi.
Morning visit Old Delhi: The important places in Old Delhi include the majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk and if time permits you can visit Raj Ghat the Memoir of Mahatma Gandhi.

Afternoon visit New Delhi visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India's leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Baha'i Temple. Evening enjoy Sound & Light Show at Red Fort in Delhi. (Meals: Breakfast)

Soma Gompa - Leh Ladakh

Day 03: Delhi - Agra - Delhi (By train at 0710 hrs / arr at 1000 hrs)

Morning transfer to railway station by 0645 hrs to board the Taj Express train at 0710 hrs, assistance on arrival in Agra at 1000 hrs, on arrival take a sight seeing tour of Agra visiting Sikandra to see the tomb of Mughal Emperor Akbar at Sikandra, Agra Fort, Ittamuddaulahs Tomb & the Grand Taj Mahal. Later in the evening transfer to railway station at 1800 hrs to board the train for Delhi, assistance on arrival in Delhi at 2130 hrs, transfer to hotel, relax & overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 04: Delhi - Leh (By air at 0545 hrs / 0655 hrs)

Early morning transfer to airport to board the flight for Leh at 0545 hrs, assistance on arrival in Leh at 0655 hrs, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free for acclimatization. Overnight in Leh. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner)

Day 05: Leh

After breakfast visit Shey, Thiksey, and Hemis Monastery, these are the famous and wealthiest Monastery of Ladakh. Overnight at the Hotel. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner)

Day 06: Leh - Durbuk - Tangtse (Pangong) (126 Kms)

Leave Leh after breakfast drive through Kharu, Chemrey, Tagar Sakti to Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt for picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and visit the small monastery. One can visit to see the beautiful sunset at the Lake. Dinner and overnight in tents. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner)

Day 07: Tangtse - Pangong - Leh Alchi - Leh Ladakh

From there a short drive takes you to Lukung at the western shore of the lake and drive along the Pangong Lake upto Spangmik (8 Kms) the last point allowed for tourists. Enjoy the sunrise in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. In the late afternoon drive back to Leh. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner)

 

Day 08: Leh - Alchi - Liker - Leh

After breakfast visit Alchi, Liker & Resong Monastery - these monasteries are very popular & known for its paintings. Later drive back to Leh, evening free for shopping & individual activities, overnight in Leh. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner)

Day 09: Leh - Khardungla - Nubra

After early breakfast at the hotel departure to Nubra Valley with box lunch enroute visit Disket and Hundar monastery. On arrival check in at Lharimo North Camp. Accommodation in tents. Dinner and overnight at the camp. NUBRA: The Nubra valley lies in the north of Leh and is accessible over the Khardungla pass 5600 Mtrs which is one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The Nubra valley has opened for Foreign Tourists in 1994 by the Govt. of India to expand tourist's opportunities in Ladakh region. The valley is on the trade route from Leh to Khangar via Samsar and Karakoram pass. Apart from unparallel trekking opportunities. The valley have several Buddhist Gompas Diskit Gompa is 350 years old and is situated on the highest point near the village in which there are about 120 Resident Buddhist Monks. The Nubra valley is also known for its double humped bacterian camels. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner)

Day 10: Nubra

Full day free to explore Nubra, overnight in tented accommodation. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner)

Day 11: Nubra - Leh

After breakfast at the camp, Departure to Leh with lunch box. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free for shopping and independent activities. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner)

Day 12: Leh

Full day free to explore Leh. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner)

Day 13: Leh - Delhi (By air at 0650 hrs / arr at 0750 hrs)

Early morning transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi, assistance on arrival, transfer to hotel. Full day free to relax in Delhi, evening transfer to International airport to board the flight back home. (Meals: Breakfast)
