Days 1:Kathmandu
Arrive Kathmandu International Airport, assistance on arrival by our tour representative, transfer to hotel. Day free to relax & acclimatize, overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu
Morning visit The Pashupatinath Temple, situated on the banks of River Baghmati around 8 km from the city, is one of the holiest Hindu shrines. Also visit Guheshwari Temple near Pashupatinath is considered as the place where Yoni of Shiva's consort Sati fell when she was cut into pieces by Lord Vishnu. Later visit Boudhnath which is one of the largest stupas in the world. Afternoon free to relax, early evening visit Patan is a spiritual city with Durbar Square in the centre and many stupas, shikaras, and temples. Bhaktapur is again a royal city where most of the attractions revolve around Durbar Square and the Palace of 55 Windows. Evening free to visit the market of Thamel, overnight in Kathmandu. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 3: Kathmandu - Rafting - Chitwan
After early breakfast checkout & drive for 2 hrs to the raft put point. Enjoy White water rafting in Trishuli river- over crashing waves and swirling rapids for the excitement of a lifetime. Lunch will be served on concluding the river rafting. After lunch drive to Chitwan National park for exclusive jungle safari. Upon arrival meet by the naturalist and transfer to the jungle resort. The manager will brief the guests about the activities.
Early evening guests will be taken for a jungle safari on elephant back so that they can penetrate deep into the jungle for
sightings and photographing wild life or a jungle walk is organized to experience the abundant bird life and the flora & fauna
of Chitwan National Park. If you are lucky, you may see the Royal Bengal tiger both on nature walk as well as on elephant safari.
Enjoy theme dinner around the campfire with live Nepali folk dance &
music. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 4: Chitwan Jungle Safari
Early morning take an elephant safari in to the Jungle of
Chitwan for a 2-3 hours penetrating through dense grassland to view wildlife. This grass commonly known as Elephant grass is dense and grows to a height of 18-20 ft.. It is the favorite habitat of the rhinoceros, elephants and other mammals. After breakfast , the guests are taken to our elephant stables where the senior naturalists will give a talk about the habitats of the elephant. Here one may witness the rare scene of the elephant at bath. Afternoon free to relax. Evening dinner served around the camp fire followed by Tharu stick dance. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 5: Chitwan - Pokhara
After breakfast checkout & drive to Pokhra, one of the most picturesque valley in Nepal, 125 mile west from Kathmandu and under the shadow of the Annapurna Himalayan range. A rare combination of snow-clad mountains, crystal clear lakes, streams, villages inhabited by friendly ethnic tribes. After freshen up take a sight seeing tour of Pokhra visiting Davis Falls, Binde Basini Temple, Mahindra Caves, Seti George and Phewa Lake. Evening free to relax at the hotel, overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Pokhara - Hike to Sarangkot
After breakfast, start the pleasant hike to Sarangkot with packed lunch. The popular hilltop offering the superb panoramic view of the Himalayas. It's a hike to places within the rim of the Pokhara valley and walks to the surrounding villages offer captivating glimpses of rural life. Return to Pokhara, overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Pokhara - Manokamna Temple - Kathmandu
After breakfast checkout & drive to Kathmandu, enroute visiting the
most famous Temple of Manokamna Devi - it is beleived that who so ever
visit the Temple there prayers are fulfiled by this Godess. Later
proceed to Kathmandu, on arrival transfer to hotel.
Rest of the day free to visit the Markets of Thamel, overnight in
Kathmandu.
Day 8: Kathmandu - Back home.
Early morning take an one hour Mountain Flight to enjoy the Himalayan
Peaks including the Mightiest Kanchenjunga from close encounters. The
flight ensures each passenger a window seat. After the ever mountain
flight, full day is kept free to explore the markets of Kathmandu,
evening transfer to International airport to board the flight back home.
