Delhi - Corbett - Agra - Orchha - Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh - Kanha - Nagpur - Mumbai   (14 Days)

Day 01: Home - Delhi

Assistance on arrival at Delhi International airport by our Company Representative, transfer to prebook hotel, relax & overnight in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi

After breakfast take a sight seeing tour of Old & New Delhi. Morning visit Old Delhi: The important places in Old Delhi include the majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk and if time permits you can visit Raj Ghat the Memoir of Mahatma Gandhi. Afternoon visit New Delhi visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India's leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Baha'i Temple. Evening relax, overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Corbett (275 Kms - 5 hours)

After breakfast checkout a little early & drive to Corbett National Park for 5 to 6 hrs, named after legendary Jim Corbett. It is located at the foothills of the Himalayas. It is famous for the Indian Tiger. Upon arrival check in to the resort. In the afternoon, drive to Dhikala Grass Lands - a drive of 31 kms inside the Jungle, on the way to Dhikala is a very adventurous drive, you will see a lot of Fauna on the way, on arrival at Dhikala Grass Lands you will see herds of Deers, Elephant at any given time of the day or night. Take an elephant safari with Naturalist who will take you to the spots where the chances of sighting Tigers are more bright, it is for sure that you will see enth number of animals here & if you are lucky you will be able to see the tiger also, tiger sighting chances are 50/50 in this region. Drive back to the resort, evening free to relax, overnight in Corbett. 

Day 4: Corbett

Early morning drive to Dhikala Grasslands again & if you are lucky enough you will not be surprised to see Tiger hunting emerging out from the tall grasses & taking away one of the Deers from the herd. Evening visit the Bijrani area of the National Park which is known for its sightings of reptiles like Crocodiles & other wild lizards found in Corbett. Overnight in Jungle resort.

Day 5: Corbett - Agra (280 kms - 7 hrs)

An optional visit early in the morning to Dhikala to say good bye to the animals. After breakfast checkout & drive to Agra. Arrive and check in to hotel. Day free to relax after a long drive. Evening stroll into the inlay handicraft markets of Agra, overnight in Agra.

Day 06: Agra

After breakfast take a sight seeing tour of Agra discover the strong & magnificent Red Fort - built by the three generations of Mughal Emperors between 1565 and 1573, whose military power cannot be questioned. It was the residence of the Mughal Emperors. Each one left there its print, Red sandstone of Akbar and Jehangir, White marble of Shah Jahan. This fort rises on the edges of Yamuna River, it is surrounded by a wall from 20 to 33 meters top and 2500 m perimeter. Later visit the World famous Taj Mahal, whose eternal beauty will astonish and mesmerize the visitors. It is also known as the Crown of Palaces built by the Emperor Shah Jahan to immortalize the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Evening free to relax or enjoy rickshaw ride in the busy bazaars of Agra, overnight in Agra.

Panna National Park

Day 07: Agra - Orchha - Khajuraho (Agra - Jhansi (By train at 0800 hrs / arr at 1040 hrs) - Khajuraho (178 kms - 4 hrs))

After early breakfast checkout & transfer to Railway station to board the Shatabdi Express Train for Jhansi, assistance on arrival in Jhansi at 1040 hrs, drive to Khajuraho for 3 hours, enroute visit Orchha Orchha once the capital of the Bundelas, Orchha is now just a village set amidst a complex of well preserved temples and palaces. It was built by Bir Singh Deo in 1531. Take a sight seeing tour of Orchha visiting Jehangir Mahal - the largest of the palaces , the Raj Mahal with its murals and the Raj Praveen Mahal built near a garden, You would also visit Dinman Hardaul`s palace with its interesting story. The temples of Orchha are highly preserved. The two main temples are the Ram Raja Temple and the Chaturbhuj temple. Later proceed to Khajuraho, on arrival transfer to hotel. After freshen up visit the Visit the famous Eastern & Western Group of Temples magnificent carved & dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and the Jain Tirthankaras. These temples were built between 950 A.D. and 1050 A.D. These temples represent some of the most exquisite specimens of medieval India. Now declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Khajuraho - Panna National Park (30 kms) - Bandhavgarh 165 kms - 4 to 5 hrs)

After breakfast checkout & drive to Bandhavgarh National Park enroute visit Panna National Park on arrival  take Jungle Safari in Panna National Park known for housing Tigers & Crocodiles, deers, blue bull & bears are the common sight of this National Park. Proceed to Bandhavgarh situated in the forest of the erstwhile State of Rewa, The National Park lies in the heart of the Vindhyan Mountain Range. Besides its enchanting landscape formed by the Sal forest in the valleys and majestic tree clad hills in the backdrop, it is famous for its rich variety of wildlife and archaeological remains of the Kalchuri period. The park area is hilly and is dominated by the majestic Bandhavgarh fort, built in 14th century., on arrival transfer to Jungle Lodge, evening enjoy Jungle in Bandhavgarh National park known for its tiger population & sightings of Tiger are more frequent. Overnight in Bandhavgarh.

Day 09:  Bandhavgarh

Early morning & early evening Jungle Safari by Jeep or Elephant in the National Park of Bandhavgarh with a naturalist. During the day go for a walking tour to recognize the bird life found in the national park. Overnight in Bandhavgarh.

Day 10: Bandhavgarh

Full day dedicated in search of Tiger if not found on the previous 2 days, but by now you must at least seen one of them. Overnight in Bandhavgarh. 

Kanha

Day 11: Bandhavgarh - Kanha (190 Kms - 4 hours)

After breakfast checkout & drive for 4 to 5 hrs to Kanha National Park, spread over 1,945 sq. km of dense sal forests, interspersed with extensive meadows and trees and clumps of wild bamboo. Kanha is considered as one of best wildlife reserve and its rich habitat comprises the Tiger, Gaur, Sambar, Chital, Barasingha, Barking Deer, Black Deer, Black Buck, Sloth Bear, Jackal Fox, Porcupine, Hyena, and the of Barasingha (swamp deer). Arrive and check in to hotel. Evening Jungle Safari of Kanha National Park, overnight at hotel

Day 12: Kanha

We go on a safari today to discover fauna of the park: tigers, gaurs, panthers, chitals, Barasingha, sambars, etc. Overnight in Kanha.

Day 13: Kanha - Nagpur - Mumbai (BY air at 1800 hrs / arr at 1900 hrs)

Morning drive to Nagpur, on arrival transfer to airport to board the flight for Mumbai, assistance on arrival in Mumbai at 1900 hrs, transfer to hotel. Evening free to relax, overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Mumbai Gateway of India - Mumbai

Morning take a city tour visiting Gateway of India - The imposing stone archway in Indo-Saracenic architecture built in 1911, later cruise by motor boats to Elephanta island lies 9 km north-east to Apollo Bunder or Gateway of India. The island which was known as Gharapuri earlier is the glorious abode of Lord Shiva. This island was renamed, Elephanta by the Portuguese who landed here, after they saw the majestically carved elephant on this island. Spread over an area of 500 sq mt is the cave temple of Elephanta. A flight of 100 steps takes you to the top of the hill where it is set. The temple houses large pillars that seem to hold the ceiling which is made of cross beams. The picturesque presentation of the 9 marvelous sculptured panels, set on the walls are awe-inspiring. The most famous of the panels is the Trimurthi, or triple-headed Shiva, where the God is depicted as the destroyer, the preserver and the creator. Later in the afternoon cruise back to Gateway of India. Later visit Prince of Wales Museum, Afghan Church, Parliament House, Marine Drive, Jain Temple, Hanging Gardens, later visit Mani Bhawan, Mahalaxmi Temple and Dhobhi Ghat - Indian Laundry System. Evening free for leisure, overnight in Mumbai.

 

Day 15: Mumbai - Back home

In time transfer to International airport to take the flight back home.
