Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Assistance on arrival by our Company Representative at International Delhi airport, transfer to hotel, relax & overnight in Delhi. (Meals: No Meals)
Day 02: Delhi - Mandawa (275 kms - 5 hrs)
After breakfast checkout and drive to Mandawa, traditional welcome on arrival transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day visit compact little town of Shekhavati region comprising of Forts and Havelis of beautiful frescoes. While touring this town a painted arched gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows leads to the bazaar. Evening enjoy folk dance and music. Overnight at hotel. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 03: Mandawa - Bikaner (175 kms- 3 hours)
After breakfast checkout and drive to Nawalgarh - 30 kms, the town where the finest of the Shekhavati frescoes can be seen. It's Havelis still bear witness to the rich & prosperous Marwari era of the 19th century. Worth visiting are the Aath Haveli complexes, Anandilal Poddar Haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat Haveli & Chokhani Haveli. Drive to Bikaner - 175 kms (3 hrs), transfer to hotel on arrival. Evening free to relax. Overnight at hotel. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 04: Bikaner
After breakfast take a sight seeing tour of Bikaner covering Junagadh Fort - constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Rai Singh, fort has a 986 meter long wall with 37 bastions & two entrances, Bhand Sagar Temple - The 16th century Jain temple, is the most important of this temple complex, Camel Breeding Farm - a unique experience where you can ride on a camel & have perhaps the first taste of camel's milk. Later in the evening take an excursion tour to Deshnok Temple situated in semi desert village at a distance of 30 kms, this place is famous for Karni Mata Temple where you will see thousands of rats roaming freely in the temple complex and are held sacred. If one sees white rat in the temple complex, than it is believed to be very lucky. Enjoy sunset from here over the small dunes & drive back to Bikaner for overnight. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 05: Bikaner - Gajner - Jaisalmer (333 kms - 6 hours)
After breakfast checkout and drive to Jaisalmer, enroute take an off beat track to see Gajner Lake & Palace surrounded by Gajner wild life sanctuary. Later proceed to Jaisalmer, arrive and check into hotel. Afternoon free to relax or enjoy the city atmosphere. Evening visit Gadisar Lake, Overnight at hotel. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 06: Jaisalmer
After breakfast take a sight seeing tour of Jaisalmer covering Jaisalmer Fort - built on the highest point of the Tricuta hill, consisting of 99 bastions. Outstanding features are Megh Durbar & various temples, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & Patwon-Ki-Haveli - some of the beautiful mansions with stone carving and latticework of breath taking intricacy. Rest of the day free to relax, Early evening drive to Sam Sand Dunes - 45 kms enroute visit the ancient Temple of Lodurwa, Amar Sagar and Mool Sagar Lakes. Arrive Sam Sand Dunes and transfer on Camels and enjoy camel rides on the dunes till the sunset. Drive back to Jaisalmer for overnight. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 07: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (290 kms - 6 hrs)
After breakfast checkout and drive to Jodhpur, on arrival transfer to hotel. Day free to relax till 1500 hrs, later visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Evening visit Balsamand Lake and Palace, overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 08: Jodhpur - Rohetgarh (30 kms - 1 hr)
After breakfast checkout & drive to Rohetgarh, on arrival transfer to Rohetgarh Fort Hotel. After freshen up Rohetgarh management will take you to a unique tour, which introduces its guests to local cultures and traditions. Because of the host family's special bond with different communities among the local people which goes back several generations you are taken into homes and received with warmth and affection, an experience which often eludes the ordinary tourist. Guests interact with various communities living in the area and share and understand their worlds, the Bishnois, protectors of nature for five centuries and arguably the world's first ecologists, responsible for the survival of species such as the black-buck antelope: the semi nomadic Raika shepherds of Marwar whose brilliant crimson and marigold costumes would put modern designers to shame: as also the Paliwals and the Meghwals, the farmers and weavers. Also while touring the villages you will see village artisans at work creating leather articles, pottery and woven handicrafts. Besides being home to three species of antelope the chinkaras, the blue bull and the black-buck Rohet is also a haven for bird watchers with up to two hundred domestic and migratory species. Day 09: Rohetgarh - Deogarh (170 kms - 4 hrs)
After breakfast checkout & drive to Deogarh, on arrival transfer to Deogarh Palace Hotel. This 17 the century Palace is a commanding structure, standing atop a hill offering a panoramic view of the Aravalli mountain range and the numerous lakes, spread through out the countryside. With its greying battlements, domes, turrets, jharokhas and huge gateways. After freshen up take a toy train ride into the villages near Deogarh & visit Dashavtar Temple & Manstambha Temple. Day 10: Deogarh - Mount Abu (200 kms - 4 hours)
After breakfast checkout and drive to Mount Abu, on arrival transfer to hotel. Later in the day visit to Delwara Temples, the best Jain temples in the country. Gaumukh Temple, Achalgarh Fort, Toad's Rock, Sunset Point, Trevor's Tank; Nakki Lake said to have been carved out by the gods with their nails, is a favorite spot for boating. Overnight in Mount Abu. Day 11: Mount Abu - Ranakpur - Udaipur (250 kms - 5 to 6 hrs)
After breakfast checkout & drive to Udaipur enroute visiting the ancient 12th Century Ranakpur Jain Temples which has 1444 pillars each carved differently from others. Later drive to Kumbhalgarh to visit the famous Kumbhalgarh Fort known for its second longest wall after the great wall of China, it is worth visiting as this was the only Fort which was not conquered by the Mughal, made by Rana Kumbha with 36 kms long wall surrounding the fort on which 6 horses can run at time, inbuilt in this walls are 360 Temples which now leis in the state of ruin. Maharana Pratap was born in this Fort. One can have tea / coffee at Aodhi Heritage Hotel near Kumbhalgarh. Later drive back to Udaipur, on arrival transfer to hotel, evening free to relax, overnight in Udaipur. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 12: Udaipur
After breakfast sightseeing tour of Udaipur visiting The City Palace and Museum is considered as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan comprising of Jagdish Temple which was built in 1651 AD, Crystal Gallery & Durbar Hall all in the vicinity of City Palace Complex. Later visit Maharana Pratap Memorial it has the bronze statue of Maharana Pratap, the legendary warrior king of Udaipur. Saheliyon Ki Bari is a small ornamental garden built in the honour of royal ladies. Evening free to relax or individual activities, overnight in Udaipur. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 13: Udaipur - Chittaurgarh - Bijaipur (150 kms - 3 hours)
Morning checkout and drive to Bijaipur enroute visit one of the finest forts of Asia; Chittaurgarh Fort comprising of Man Palace, Padmini Palace, and Towers of Peace and Victory, you will be driving on this fort to cover all this places. One can have good lunch at Pratap Palace in Chittaurgarh and proceed to Bijaipur. On arrival transfer to Castle Bijaipur which is a 16 Century Castle owned & run by descendants of Maharana Pratap. Later in the day visit Lotus Lake & take a jeep drive into the tribal villages of Bijaipur to see the tribal lifestyle. Enjoy folk dance & music while you dine at the courtyard of the hotel, overnight in Bijaipur. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 14: Bijaipur - Bijoila - Bundi (100 kms - 2 hrs)
Morning checkout and drive to Bundi, enroute visit Bijoila Tribal Villages & Shiva Temple on the edge of a hill where Menal Water falls commence, this is a very scenic place, proceed to Bundi on arrival transfer to hotel. Later visit Taragarh Fort built in 1354 A.D., Bundi Palace, Chhattar Mahal, Ratan Daulat, Chitrashala, Nawal Sagar lake, Raniji - Ki - Baori (Step well), Sukh Mahal, Phool Sagar, and eighty four pillared cenotaph (All near Taragarh Fort and Bundi Palace). Day 15: Bundi - Pushkar (200 kms - 4 hours)
Morning drive to Pushkar. Arrive Pushkar and check - in at hotel. Later visit Pushkar Lake which is believed by the Hindus to be as old as creation & has been a place of pilgrimage through the centuries. There are 52 bathing Ghats built around the lake. Also visit the only temple of Lord Brahma. Pushkar draws thousands of tourist every year in the month of November to witness the Pushkar Fair. One can also visit Ajmer to see Taragarh Fort, Adhai Din ka Jhopda & Shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, evening free to relax, overnight in Pushkar. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 16: Pushkar - Samode
After breakfast drive to the old caravan city of Samode locked up in its walls and dominated by the castle. On arrival transfer to Samode Palace Hotel, later visit the Palace, the Sheesh Mahal- the hall of mirrors. Late afternoon take camel cart ride to explore the Samode Fort and the semi desert village of Samode, evening free to relax at the Palace Hotel, overnight in Samode. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 17: Samode - Jaipur (50 kms - 1 hr)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur including, City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum. Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. Evening visit Chokhi Dhani - an ethnic resort serving Rajasthani cuisine with live music and puppet shows in an ambiance of an ethnic village. Return to the hotel for overnight. Day 18: Jaipur
After breakfast excursion to Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, You can have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Rest of the day is kept free for individual activities or shopping the most famed markets of Jaipur of handicraft, gems & fabrics. Evening if you wish you can visit Nahargarh Fort to see it illuminated by flood lights. Overnight in Jaipur. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day19: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (230 kms - 3 to 4 hours)
After breakfast checkout & drive to Agra, enroute visiting Panch Mahal, Bulund Darwaza & Shrine of Shaikh Salim Chisti in the old Mughal Dynasty called Fatehpur Sikri. Later proceed to Agra, on arrival transfer to hotel. After freshen up take a sight seeing tour of Agra covering Agra Fort, Ittamuddaulahs Tomb & the Grand Taj Mahal where one should spend some quality time. Evening free to venture into the handicrafts market of Agra, overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 20: Agra - Delhi (200 kms - 4 hrs) - Back home.
Early morning an optional visit to Taj Mahal to see it over the Sun Rise. After breakfast day free to relax, afternoon checkout & drive to Delhi, On arrival transfer to International airport to board the flight back home (Meals: Breakfast)
